Our large secure furniture storage facility in Sydney is designed to hold household goods undercover in custom wooden storage modules.
Wooden modules are renowned for breathing better than metal containers, with your goods installed. All items are padded within the modules and are assured to be dust and pest free.
Another benefit of wooden modules is that they allow air to circulate around their content. This provides the benefit of ensuring your furniture and possessions will not ‘sweat’ whilst in storage. The base of the modules are also raised above floor level further protecting against damp and ambient conditions.
You can rest assured that your items are easily locatable and filly itemised with full inventory and condition reports filled out on pick up and checked again during unloading into storage.

Secure furniture storage can be useful and simplify the moving process
Whether you are downsizing, decluttering ahead of a sale, renovating, making a temporary overseas, temporary storage can be beneficial. Or perhaps you are moving locally regionally or interstate, and have with a delayed settlement? In all of these cases, our secure storage facility coupled with our custom storage modules, and flexible terms can combine to create an ideal short or long term storage strategy.
Out storage modules also remove the need to double-handle your furniture or belongings. We simply pack directly into the required number of modules, forklift them directly off the truck, and when required, simply load them back onto a truck for redelivery.
Our storage modules can pack up to 20% of a standard house, so you will be surprised by the amount of items that can be stored in each module.
When we pack the modules, we ensure all items are safely secured by using certain packing material, additionally checked that they have been received and logged on our inventory, as per pick up.
How long can I use your storage facility ?
The simple answer is “for as long as you need”. At David Jones Removals and Storage, we offer both long and short term storage.
We understand that you may only need a few days to store items, or perhaps due to your particular circumstances, you may need longer term storage. We also understand that you may need a longer time frame.
